"Cant sign into messenger"?

Hi all.I just bought a new Elite,which is just great,but i keep getting the message come up-"Can't sign into messenger"?-I can't remember the same problem with my 360 Pro?

Any ideas?

your probably signed in on a computer, if not make sure your correct email has been entered in contact setails. if this isnt the problem, i have no clue sorry.

thanks for the reply,but i've worked it out now-i had to do the 1st time signing into messenger on my 360-All cool now!
