although no doubt all of those will be great games. theyre not gonna steal any of halo's hype, theyre just not as well known as the halo franchise. the CoD franchise is more well known than the others, but still not as widely known as halo

Together..maybe but no game alone will be as hyped as Halo 3 this year or the next. And I'm not even buying it at launch, my must buy game this year is Mass Effect. Unless Halo 3 really sucks there is nothing stopping it from becomming the best selling game of the year. But I agree on the failing thread, there really wasnt any point in it.

Agreed...and Mass Effect is my must buy as well, i actually believe that it will win GOTY. Its either that or Halo 3.
