Ok i have a weird issue with my xbox 360 right now that i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before. My disc drive wont open manually (via physically pressing the button) but it will open from the dashboard (via pressing X"Eject" or A"Close"). I just baught FF13 and im on the first disc swap but I am unable to open my tray manually to perform the swap. Now another game that i had Star Ocean, also had 3 discs and i was able to perform the swap. I called microsoft and they said it was was weird issue and was trying to tell me to do the paper clip method, or send it in, again....

Has anyone else ever encountered this problem if so, how did you fix it? I havn't tried the paper clip thing yet, so im gonna try to open it manually like that. But honestly i do not see how I am able to do it with one game but not another.

not on the 360... the spring on the button must be busted. on the first xbox. I dropped my xbox down flight of stairs lol(try that with the 360). It worked but the disc tray wouldn't open on its own. and Microsoft told me use a paper clip back of my head i'm like wtf.

then i got new xbox when they came out with the limited halo version on the fist xbox.

I never open the disc tray manually, I always use the in menu option, I prefer it in case the button jams or breaks in some way.
