Unfortunately, it's a birthday present :( But my b-day is Sept. 9th, so at least I will get it day one (hopefully). I'll be in college anyways, so I won't have xbox Live for multiplayer :( :(

Where are you picking up your copy of Halo Reach and what would you like to see at the midnight event? I work at gamestop and was just wondering if people are into having tournaments or see military vehicles like tanks and hummers and stuff? or play the game.

i'm really not that excited about it. honestly, i might not even get it at all. there are just other stories and other worlds i'd rather "be in." i didn't get odstor halo wars and i don't really feel like i'm missing anything.

You're a loser if you go to a midnight launch? Most gamers are up at that time anyway. Hell, most people older than 16 are up at that time so its not like they're staying up just to get a game.

Write your papers, game for an hour or two and go party. That's kind of how the college life is. If you choose not to game, then you can do a substitute for that time slot.

I don't know anyone in college who sleeps for more than 5 hours.

Now I might get it there at midnight.

I have it pre ordered and will be going at midnight for sure. the gamespot by my house really isnt that busy usually although the last halo 3 midnight launch was pretty crazy i came back at 3 am and finally got my copy....

I pre-ordered a copy for my friend for his birthday on the 15th but I'm trying to decide whether he's worth waiting in line until midnight on the 14th to get the game. :P

I work till midnight unfortunately. So ill be rushing out to gamestop when i get off. Ill get it but i wont be able to enjoy all the midnight release fun and activities :/.
