lol you wont buy the game for a achievement in the first that is bugged??
that makes no sense at all..
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 coming for 360 and perhaps PS3, not clear on the info but the original, first one was 360 exclusive but was then made for pc i think..
Anyways I wont be getting it, why? because the team cant even spend atleast 1 day of their life to friggin check and find a way to patch/fix the special operations achievement on the 360 as it has been bugged for about 1 year atleast from what i remember. they definatley wont have my $100 AUD on it and my brothers and one of my friends until they fix itJericho721

meaning that i am not happy with what they did with the first game, they did a sloppy job on it and couldn't fix the problems to satisfy their customers and now they're working on a new one?lol you wont buy the game for a achievement in the first that is bugged??

A sloppy job? Theres a bug in ONE achievement that has nothing to do with the gameplay and doesnt affect the game whatsoever. And its not like the achievement is unattainable, it just requires alittle more work than you want to put into it. I know i got it. But then some people look for anything to complain about.

its more along the lines of:
If they cant fix a simple bit of code, why make a new game.
I wont get it either, it looks exactly the same as the first one. TBH i never liked the first anyway. It was kind of rubbish.

well atleast u have an understandable reason for not getting it, but lets say u liked the first one alot and that achievement didnt work. would u pass up the second one just because of that stupid achievement? i think thats like one of the dumbest things ive ever heard. i really dont see the point in achievements anyways. i mean what do they actually do?

well thats a decent reason not to get it ya dont like rainbow six vegas the game,.
its definetally going to be more of the same like if gwar1 & 2 are anything to go on.
but the first guyjust one achievement being bit harder to get than it says isnt a reason to not get a game if ya actiually like the game. and ya must really like it to go for that achievement aint it the one where u have to be elite or do every type of game on every map to get it,

Exactly. I loved RSV's MP, so yeah, this is must buy for me!
It has to be very great for me to buy this one. The first one was a very cool shooter, but the Las Vegas theme was not used. The only thing Las Vegas where some locations, but the music and feeling of the game was not Las Vegas @ all.

So you're saying more Elvis/Wayne Newton/Tom Jones playing in the background? Or maybe a boss battle with Siegfried and Roy? Sorry for the sarcasm, but I just don't understand where you're coming from...

yeah if you dont like the game, thats allright. thats a good reason to not buy a game. but for one achievement?
It still doesnt make sense to me. even ifI were a achievement junkie I would still buy rb6 even with the bugged achievement. how much GS is that achievement anyway? and what do you need to get it?
Fast forward a few months.
You'll see more trailers, you read "first looks", you see the hype increasing. The gameplay no matter if it is the same as the original will look great in the trailers. Anticipation is building. Your COD4 is on the shelf collecting dust, Halo 3 (if you still own it) will be illegible under the layers of dust since you put itway for COD4. One of your buddies caves in and gets it, you follow them immediately not wanting to miss out, and the memory of a missing achievement is long forgotten.
