I think the Forza 2 customization looks real cool but I dont much care for its realistic racing. what about Midnight Club or a need for speed game with excellent customization? Is my best bet with Forza or is there an Arcade game with good customization?

Actually you might try Forza out through a rental if the customization is that important. You can set the difficulty down to make it a little easier if you're not into the "Sim" side of things. But it is a Gran Turismo clone, so if you know you really want arcade then you're better off walking away from it.

I haven't any of the Midnight Club games, but I used to own NFS Most Wanted and it was a fun arcade racer and the customizations were endless, so I'm assuming any newer NFS game would also have that, like Carbon or Undercover. On the other hand, you could probably pick up MW for really cheap. :)

Good Luck and have fun!

I just bought Race Pro and a very good racer but not really arcade. I suggest NFS undercover for a fun racer not a good story but very fun!!

Pretty much any NFS game or Midnight Club would work for you!

Yeah, it does sound like you need a NFS game. Most wanted was the last one I played and it was pretty good. I've not bothered with any of the more recent ones as I kinda over played the NFS series.

I remember playing the MW demo and I loved it but I never got around to buying it. Its cheap now, but hows the customization? Can you make your own skins and paintjobs with decals along with tuning the cars, or is it just pick the design, pick the color kinda stuff?

NFS Prostreet is one. It includes things like spring rates, camber, ign timing etc. Not to mention drag racing that is some of the best ever created in video games. I picked it up at a Blockbuster Gamerush for 17.99 brand new and it ROCKS. At the least its worth a rent.
