[QUOTE="sparda012"]Also I still do not like how they still have that guitar for RB2 with a reddish finish.MakariWhen people say stuff like that, I wonder.
Yeah. lol. What I really mean to say is that I never liked the ook of the rock band guitar. It just didnt feel right for some reason. i actually think that the GH world tour guitar is orangy red wood finish. Something like that.
I'll be getting GH: WT. RB's DLC is weak for every good song that's out there there's like 4-5 that suck. If the set list that was leaked is real...Zakk wylde, tool, Dio, weezer, Slipknot, Maiden, Judas Priest, Black tide, Van halen, sublime ETC.. it's not even close GH is gonna be better even if RB throws the DLC out every week
One thing I saw on the set list for GH (if it was offical) was it had songs from Toolbarilli71
As much as i hate to say it, it has been confirmed that it's fake:

dang that freakin stinks.
If i could only get 1 i'd get Rockband 2. The "Jukebox" mode is something i couldn't figure out why the Guiatr Heros or first Rockband didn't have to begin with. You can finally make your own setlist, and just listen to the music with a performance onstage by a band without the notes coming down the screen. A "Freestyle" mode for the drums is going to be fun. Making your own setlist, picking the band you want, then playing all the songs you have just by that band is also something i'm looking forward to.
But there are things about Guitar Hero World Tour i like too. The instruments are more to my liking from what i've seen. Theres the create-a-song feature thats awesome. And the song setlist is really nice.
I also have a huge amount of songs on Rockband, over 200, and they just transfer over to Rockband 2. But all my Guitar Hero III DLC is stuck and won't be playable on World Tour. Thats kinda lame.
I've pretty much made up my mind that i'll be buying the full $180 World Tour and just the disk for Rockband 2. Then i'll just use the instruments from World Tour on Rockband 2.
I personally think that the only true change rb2 is making is that they are giving you more songs. Guitar hero is giving you create a song mode, sliding feature on the guitar, new drum set (not just fixed up like the rb2 one and the cymbals made for rb look pretty cheap in my opinion), and the setlist for gh will most likely be better than rb2 although I can't say for sure. I for one don't already have rock band one so I see no point in buying rb2 when I have no DLC to transfer. Im not trying to make rock band sound like a bad game, but I have come to trust the guitar hero franchise and I will be buying the world tour bundle instead of rb2.
