I really liked Oblivion, mostly because I love games that have a lot of depth, and ones that you need to spend some time on.
The one major things I didn't like about Oblivion is that the enemies scaled with you. But I guess being as open as it was, they sort of had to scale with the character. This did take away from that dominating feeling you can get by spending a lot of time and working on an RPG.
But yeah, some games are liked by people and some aren't.

Yes, this. btw i'm at my 65 hours of gameplay with Oblivion.
Just hate the leveling system and some mini problems, that's all.
Can't say i hate oblivion, can't say i like it too. Only problem is i have a hell of a hard time to get into it. -_-
I loved oblivion i was amazed to see a 360 game where u can explore almost anything probably my favorite game i played this decade. including everyones homes, towns etc. fallout 3 was good but it wasent as good as oblivion. the only thing that oblivion didnt really get right was the physics. it was kinda weird where the combat u just keep pressing right trigger backing up then going in and keep repeating. but the awesome expansions and quest will always leaving you wanting more
I don't hate it, it was just boring. Combat was bad, a lot of quests and dungeons were bland, and the reason I stopped playing: becoming a vampire.II-FBIsniper-II
same the story was lame and the npcs had no real emotion imo.
i got turned into a vampire then accidently saved it inside a house in the woods with some crazy lady chasing me while i'm almost dead, yet i couldn't kill her because i needed to talk to her, but she was scared of vampires. so it was ether run outside and die from sunlight or run around the house until nighttime.
I wouldn't say that, at least on here it's more than a few. I don't exactly hate it but I found it lol worthy for it to get a 9.6 on here. I found the exploration and quests to be boring for the most part, it's combat system was pretty good for the most part.many people dont hate oblivion. theres a few but not many

Most of the Oblivion haters I encounter are the die hard Fallout 3 fans who try to justify why their purchase was better then mine even though their both quite good with Oblivion being somewhat more filled with content.
usually people ask would they like Fallout if they liked Oblivion. How about: I love Fallout, would I like Oblivion? If it's just grinding for exp and slow and long, I'm not too interested.-eddy-
this, i like long games, but for what i heard this game is **** long
