All games on the 360 are 16:9

Some have the ability to be set for 4:3, I doubt Red Dead Revolver will be able to do it

Eurogamer rated it 8/10. A con for them was the fact the world map was way too big. Yeah its hard to take seriously but that tells you a lot.

Since this is the only place to talk about RDR on these forums.. I wanted to raise a question. A topic if you will. I called my local gamestop and they aren't even having a midnight release. They had one for Gears of War 2, Mass Effect 2, FF13, but not Read Dead Redemption or Alan Wake. Two huge big hit titles are coming out on the same night/day and this gamestop isn't having a Midnight Launch. Did the huge selection of videogames in March hurt people's pockets? They did have a break in April with just only Splinter Cell Conviction toping the charts. Maybe people do not like Westerns so much? But ranking in around #3 on Gamestops bestsellers should warrant a midnight launch. I live in the greater Los Angeles area.. right in the heart of LA actually, but no give.

My dear friend who works at Gamestop as a manager says that they need to have a certain quota of games sold to warrant a midnight launch. That's what she told me.. and I know she has no reason to lie. hehehe. Anyways.. it's quite interesting that RDR didn't sell enough pre-orders and "paid-in-fulls" to earn a ML.

My game ships today but I won't get it till later on the week or early next week. :( Anyway, anyone know if you can be in a posse of 2 and take on other posses of 2? Do they have variations of posse member numbers for multiplayer?

i cant join the game night :(:(:( coz im british so i have to wait till friday, what a bummer. most of you guys are in my posse but even though im british ill still be awake at whatever times to play :) i may be able to pick it up on wednesday, it depends how awesome the shop owner wants to be

Every time I try to click "Multiplayer" from the menu to go into free roam, it tries to load and gives me an error saying "A network connection was lost. You have been returned to single player." There is nothing wrong with my connection at all. Why can I not play the multiplayer? What should I do? Is anyone else having this problem too?

Only played single player so far, but wow. Wow.

As good as the music is, I've turned it off for a more immersive experience. And what an immersive experience it is.

This is gonna be many people's GOTY, no doubt.

Lol, WIthin my first half an hour of Gameplay I got thrown off my horse and killed by two wild boars. :)

I keep trying to input the deadly assassin code but it says its something wrong with the server. Anyone else getting this?Omzzz

I played about 2 hours of single players and then tried some free roam, and let me tell you that free roam is fun as hell. Its so funny when you kill somebody then they kill you and then you two just stand there and start talking and go do a mission or something. Possies are fun to be on cuz you get to go up aginst other possies or u can just do your own thing. I havnt even tried a deathmatch or something yet but im sure its just as fun. ROCKSTAR DID IT AGAIN. also i just wanna see what gamespot gives it. probably a 9.5
