Sorry to hear this man, the hardware problems are unaccceptable.

Ive had 3 mess up on me since launch day (and i take great care of my consoles and electronics).

Its wierd that ive owned almost every console since atari and nes and the 360 is the only one thats broke down like this(ps1 is the only other console that has broke on me out of dozens of consoles ive owned).

Its a flaw in the 360's design that makes every 360 capable of getting RROD at sometime, MS said this themselves.

Some 360s will last longer then others and of course it helps to take care of your 360, but thats not always good enough.

over 40 people now on my friends list of 99 have had to send a 360 in for repairs, as much as i love the 360's library of games, that is just not acceptable imo.

Same here man, except for me its the E64 error. I just bought the damn thing two weeks ago too. Gave my old one which had lasted me a year and a half to my friend. I'll be going onto my 6th 360 now, though I don't play much anymore anyway. Its just a little bit of a dissapointment as I was looking forward to the Fallout DLC today.jamejame

See thats the thing. You can buy a brand new console and within a week or a few days it can break, fresh out the box!

A relative of mine at xmas bought her son a 360, and after 30 mins it broke. No he wasnt treating the 360 bad, it was in a good spot and ever well ventalated, and it broke so quickly. Ruined her sons xmas unfortunatly.

Not everyone who has problems with 360's are treating there 360s like crap. Some just break earlyier then others and not much you can do.

Last one of mine got E74 at xmas to man, friggin sucks. I can fix the RROD but not the E74 unfortunatly (and of course its out of the 1 year warranty for e74).

The first year and a half - 2 years when my launch 360 was running great, i thought people whos 360s where breaking where treating there 360s bad because MINE hadnt broke yet. Sure enough after 1.5-2 years after launch, it broke.
