Red ring story (short)

so i had my xbox360 for sometime and this week i got the red ring but i wanted to see if my xbox will still work and it did :D then the next day i play my xbox and i got the rings again so i'm like this is it but i still can play my xbox with no issues did this happen to anybody or am i just one lucky guy

Problem is any problem is just going to get worse over time. My first 360 had disc read errors every few days. Then hours. Then Min and I sent it in. Second was the RROD every once in a while, but it never goes away. third was a wouldn't turn off or on easily. Could eventually get it to work after 4 - 5 tries until it just got to the point of not working anymore.strayzilla

Wow..after the 3rd time, I think it's time for them to replace it w/ a new one.

Well all of those were new/refurbished consoles.

hah if it works then why send it in to get it back 20 weeks later where it may or may not work even then...

That's happend to me before, then it crapped out. Go ahead and call for the coffin so you'll be ready, hope not though.
