Rented Gears and Vegas.. wow they ****

Be careful. There's lots of people on here who think you can't make topics about things you don't like.

Anyway, I liked Gears single player. I hate the multi-player. I've had R6 for months but I couldn't get into the single player game either. I don't like it to be honest. I haven't tried R6V online yet but I hear its awesome.

I won't sell R6. I'll get round to the MP eventually. It's just that I don't spend a lot of time online. I prefer the campaign side of games.

Perhaps you should try the campaign with a buddy on live. I've just played through with my friend, it's great fun!

ha thats funny... buddy, ive been playign Tom Clancy games online since Rainbow Six, what you've ecently discovered via XBOX Live ive been experiencing since you were in middle school. Via Cable Modem and online PC play.

I might be a new user to the 360, but the most fun games for console I have to say are sports games.

Shooters and RPGS are covered very well via PC gaming.

With GoW... yay I get to be a roided up dude who is supposed to be this great "badass" and kill lizard like monsters that can shoto back at me and are very tactical!

I can also lead some big bulletproof monster who is so stupid he runs through doors in a tomb.. whoopie! then proceed to shoot him with an apparant satelite laser gun? lol.

This story line seems very familiar.. oh yes Predator. A bunch fo roided dudes have to survive ina harsh setting. Only instead of one enemy... in GoW there are many.

ehh I understand somewhat (my bro kinda the same), Blue Dragon's commin up (the japan liked the game),you got sports games and other Rpgs (FALLOUT 3, sad to see black isle not developing but bethesda's f3 is promising enough) or maybe u need a easier shooter (Halo 1/2 or pretty easy to me and the 3rd is comming in september)

The story-lines in the gta series are typical comical gangster story-lines. Go watch casino or goodfellas.

since when are shooter games known for their plots. and if you are going to make this argument don't use GTA to be the game that you say has a good plot. 'Don't smack ma **** up or i'll get my gang to kill you.' Mission objective: Kill everyone in this building. RPGs are just about the only games with good storylines because that is what RPGs are about. personally i don't set my expectations high for a shooter since it's basically just gonna tell me to kill ppl. Most all shooters are the same story re-hashed as are movies so basically companies will stick to the same basic form for their story as long as it continues to sell.

That's quite silly, I've been playing games for years since duke nukem 3d. etc. Gears and vegas are fine games, far from perfect though.

If you don't like either of these games, yes shooters are not for you.

ide say that makes sense for GOW. Headshots do not exist and that pisses me off. It isnt really tactical at all. Just duck shoot duck shoot.

Havent played Rainbow 6 yet, but i assume it was like the previous games but better...where tactics do loads of hlep for you, and headshots= skill, since in gow, they dont do anything passed begginer difficulty.
