Since watching the Resi 6 gameplay videos at E3 ive been tempted to pick up racoon city and just wondered if they have patched the game to fix the problems with the friendly AI, lag online etc ive seen it for £30 on shopto.net and am considering buying it, should i wait for it to drop further in price or just avoid it altogether ?

RE:ORC is a great game -I truly enjoyed it. Since it's release there has been added a second campaign as DLC (Spec Ops campaign) which adds to the length of the game. There was released a patch for the game yesterday or thursday, I believe, but there are no (?) patch notes to find anywhere. The best gameplay is found online, and I am unsure how many players are still playing this game (online).

Why would you want to play that dog chit game anyways? Even with patches it will still be mediocre.

They did just patch it earlier in the week, I was reading the bug fixes today again, I'll see if I can find the link

Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City is a terrible game, the game plays out exactly like War for Cybertron (two campaigns) the only difference is Capcom charges you 20$ for the Spec Ops Campaign even though the character models and zombies are already on the disc and the half assed AI, don't buy it, not worth it.

I agree! I really enjoyed ORC. Sure, it may have a few problems here and there, but it is fun and it is a great little game :). I keep hoping for some third campaign (heroes) to be released, but not sure if it will. I would buy it IMMEDIATELY if it was released, just like I did with Spec Ops. Very underrated game, in my opinion. The campaigns and online are both fun, spent quite a few hours on this game already, since it was released and I have most of the achievements too (some time consuming and whatnot). Got it full price on pre-order and totally worth it :).
