Lets clear the air. Halo 3 and CoD4 are both great First Person Shooters. The both have fun singleplayer campaigns and excellent multiplayer components. Most people prefer one to the other but that's not what this thread is about. There's plenty of room for lots of great games to exist on the same playing field. Personally, some days i feel like playing Halo3, others CoD4, and other days something else. This bickering about which one is better is stupid and pointless. As many of you know opinions are like buttholes, everyone's stinks worse than your own. With that in mind, please stop with the whole "my game can beat up your game" arguments. Let's just agree to disagree.
i agree, i really perferr halo 3 and i think cod4 is great and all it just dosent do it for me compared to halo 3 but if other ppl like it then thats ok too.
yeah i agree!but all this will be over hopefully later this year :P,when resident evil 5 comes out and kills these 2 games and any others that walk in its path :P
it will die away. and when two new shooters come out. it will be this vs. that these forums never cease to have those types of topics around. i usually just forget those topics. i remember when halo 3 game out. MILLONS of gears vs. halo , and r6v vs. halo, it was insane. i then left the 360 board and went to specific game forums to get away from that.
with that being said. i do agree that the topics need to stop.

I have both and i won't even touch Halo 3 anymore cause I much, much, much prefer CoD 4. oh and RE 5 won't tramp CoD 4. It will hurt it a bit bit. but CoD 4 is gonna be around a long time. Also the reason this whole thing started is because Halo 3 had the huge hype machine and is the sequel to the greatest online game of all time. CoD 4 is the new online juggernaut that offers alot new gamepla and features. Esentially it is the old vs the new.
