make sure your NAT is open. Run network test from XBL, if it says NAT moderate or anything other than OPEN - it'll cause disconnects and issues with voice/lag.
If you dont know how to open it, consult your router mfg's instructions for how to open it. Involves port forwarding which people who dont know how to configurea router should be doing - can cause a lot of issues.
Yes my NAT is open,,I ve had this setup for 2 years and run 2 360's and one xbox with a PC all at the same time with no problem. Its not the setup Im sure or the router set up,,,after the spring update I started having problems,my current router/modem combodoes not hve the xbox live compatible logo on it,,,so my guess is after the update M$ had put something in the update to muck with non compat items, cuz they do have contracts with router makers for money.NosBigblock
that's BS - all routers/modems are XBL compatible. Companies just buy the saying from microsoft to slap it on thier POS hardware in hopes to get more sales.
It's a problem with either your setup, or your ISP. could be packet loss, line noise, bad cables, all kindsa crap. But one things for sure, it has NOTHING to do with the any XBL update. That's just the only thing you can think of when the issue started and therefor blame that.
Really? Well Ive had people look at the setup,,,xbox live support and verizon and they say ,,thats the way its supposed to be setup,,Its worked great for 2 years,,,and I dont a rats fur if its something in the update or a fraggin alien crapped on it,,Im no fan boy of any sort I just want my crap to work ,,so if thats BS,,,,,.
