Ryse Son of Rome. Just finished.

Anyone play this game at launch and then play it lately. I'm curious if they bumped the resolution. Because at launch I played it once and it looked ok but yesterday I played through the whole game in about 5-6 hours and I found the game to look amazing. The environments are some of the most detailed I have ever seen in a game. Overall the game was pretty good if you can get over the combat, which didn't bother me so much. But the woods levels in the northern highlands, Wow!!! just Wow. looking good. I hope for a sequel. Or at least a game built by the studio who made this.

Graphics were amazing, some of best I have ever seen

Game was 900p which is basically 1080p. so a resolution bump from 900p to1080p won't make the game look too much better if any. With that said the game is almost a year old and still has some of the best graphics on the xbox or ps4.

I haven't played Ryse yet, is it worth picking up?

considering crytek is basically defunked at this point, coupled with the fact that the game neither reviewed or sold well, i really doubt there will be a sequel.

Ryse is a title that we will look back to years from now and realize how great it really was for a launch title.

I dunno, I just remember people seemed disappointed when they played it. I don't care too much about graphics when the actual game I'm playing sucks.

I will say that DR3 is great fun, and that was a launch title. There's also a lot of zombies on-screen in that game at once.

I thought it was fun beat it a ton of times not really sure why the reviews were so bad most people i have seen talk about this game usually say they enjoyed it or something but you know how reviews work.
