Final Fantasy X by far, many scenes are very sad. The scene where Tidus learns the true fate of Yuna, the unforgettable ending, and even the love scene is shown in a very somber manner. The game makes me tear up each time I play it. MGS3's ending was the 2nd saddest ending I've ever experienced. It makes you feel so bad for having to fight and kill the person who meant the most in Big Boss' life, his mentor and master. Lost Odyssey's ending was very sad as well. Lastly, Crisis Core, especially the ending, was much sadder than FFVII ever was. Zack is a much more likable character than Cloud and it's heartbreaking to see him diebluem00se

When Bungie ****ed up Halo's story for Halo 3.

In Chrono Cross when Kid revisits the murder of Luca by Lynx.

I have to admit, the ending of Final Fantasy X made me tear up a littlle bit. I'm sucha sap sometimes.

Well I am surprised nobody said this being the 360 forum and all, but it had to be the day my 360 RROD and I just bought Street Fighter IV and counldn't play it for 2 weeks, to me that was the saddest moment in gaming, but was glad when it finally returned home.

I have never crid in a video game, not when doms wife died or when seargent roebuck died.

I just don't find video games sad, the only time I have actually been shaken by something in a video game was when lucien killed my wife and duaghter in fable 2.

I cried when I watched Old Yeller for the first time. I also cried when I read Where the Red Fern Grows. I can't stand watching those poor tortured dogs on Animal Cops, I want to weep and kill the mishandler at the same time. I could care less when humans die for the most part, but I am a sucker for a hurt dog.

So I vote for Fable 2.

Well obviously this thread will have spoilers and this post will be about he Darkness. Anyway the part where you watched Jenny die and there was nothing you could do. A very sad part in the game but it really made the story come to life for me at least.craigalan23

Especially after you sit on the couch with her an watch TV, holding hands, etc. It actually made me angry when she died, not really sad. I just wanted revenge on every last one of the people responsible. That's why we need a new Punisher game based on the Marvel Knights series!! C'mon Volition, stop making those Saints Row games and give us what we want! lol :D

I think the most sad moment was in Gears Of War 2 when Maria died, and Half-life 2 : Episode 2 when in the end of the game when Eli died.

Shenmue 3, and the lack of it.

Persona 3 and 4 have a LOT of sad moments... They really know how to pull a tearjerker. A video game hasn't made me cry yet, but pretty close...

The only movie / TV show that's made me cry is the ending to Death Note...

I forgot about FarCry 2. You build friendships with some of the NPCs that help you along the way. It was upsetting to see your friend get taken down, only to have them pull your arm to put your handgun under their chin and almost beg you to end it. You can also use your med needles to ease their passing if you so choose. Sad indeed. :(

When my dog died in fable 2 and also aeries getting shanked in FF7

mine has to be in Shadow Hearts Covenant when Yuri dies at the end it did make me cry cause yuri was an awesome character
