Saints Row 2 freezing up! Please Help!

Okay, I just got Saints Row 2. Brand new. But it freezes up then doesn't respond at all. I can't even open the Xbox Guide. I have to turn off the Xbox, then turn it back on.

What the hell is wrong with it?! I cleared my SR2 memory Cache and it worked fine for 1 hour and a half. Then it froze. I went on Xbox Live and downloaded an update and it worked fine for a bit, then crashed again.

Right now there is a certain mission for Brotherhood I'm on where you're like underground fighting your way out, and then as soon as I'm in a certain spot there is this weird graphic glitch, and sometimes it's like I can see the sky and the people, even though I'm underground. But I can not see the scenery around me down there. Not even the walkways.

Seems a lot of people have this problem, even PS3 users. Any suggestions anyone? Do you think maybe purchasing an intercooler would do anything, because it seems like every time it freezes, my xbox is on the warm side. If not, do you think there will be some kind of good patch out soon that will fix it and make everything run smooth and not crash?

I ran into a few glitches on my way through

Only 1 really hampered the experience...I was waiting on a guy to load up a truck, he had 11/12 packages in with the last one in his hand, and he just stopped and started following me around. I turn around and he vanishes completely. Had to reload. Never had any freezes though.
