It's like Star Wars: KOTOR with real time third personshooter combat. Instead of investing in stats, skills, and feats, you have a set of skills you invest in that open up new powers as you get the skill higher. There are 5 or 6 classes, eachwith differentskills available to them.I hear you can replay it with the same character to develop a very high power character. New difficulty levels are opened up, you unlock achievements that let different character classes use what used to be non-class skills.
So far I like it a lot other than that you don't have more in depth control over your team mates. The commands are on a wheel menu that you have to aim at the target of the command... one of your squad mates might have a visual on an enemy and you don't, you can't tell them to use that power on that target. Giving your squad mates more basic orders could have been handled better, as well.
It's a great game, though. Starting off slightly frustrating since I'm playing adept on hard and don't know the best skills to invest in for me and my team mates are, but the game's tight. Knowing that I can unlock biotics for other character classes and play through again on higher difficulty to make my character more powerful and make up for the character development goof-ups I made the first play through is cool, too.
