You dont mention the fact that the maps are far superior to anything presently available on xbox... the maps are incredible, and huge, so diverse that one map could easily be 3 different ones in one.Bdking57

lol now yo are hyping the game to infinity now. The graphics are pretty crappy, and even i can clearly see that. I put the blur to 3 so it would at least clean up the jaggies a little bit.

What if instead of just grabbing a sniper rifle, you could also get enhanced vision and smartlink, letting you see enememies through walls, deactivate Friendly Fire, and enhanced zoom in with any weapon?  Or a glider that let you fly up to a sniper's nest?  Or what if you could defensively turn into a cloud of smoke when someone spotted you and make an invisible escape?  This game is a lot deeper than Halo players are accustomed to.  I really like Halo, but I love Shadowrun.

I really exected this game to be total crap, I really did. It's funny how it actually wound up being one of the best online shooter experiences I have seen. Really excelent stuff, I love it.NAPK1NS

I agree, it's really fun, really quick, lots of cool people, and just straight hours of fun

sucks for anyone who wrote this game off.

Im not really talking about the looks, just that gears is really fun of a game to play. I still play the game, and i got it the day it came out

Respawning is overrated. 

Whats fun.... the multiplayer? Gears single player is great... and playing with coop is fun, but the multiplayer SUCKS!...maybe the chumps that run up to everyone with shotguns and glitch the hell out of the game think its fun, but no one else is having a good time playing gears online. Gears online is ruined... its nothing like playing the game due to the completely unbalanced weapons and lack of defensive measure..... shadowrun on the other hand has perfect balance.Bdking57

There is no respawn but there is a spell called resurrection that allows you to revive your teammates and you get rewarded for doing so which makes everyone really use the power frequently. The interesting twist is that if the person that revived you dies you start to "Bleed Out" which essentially means you start losing life quickly until eventually you combust in a very "Blade Vampire" like death which is great. Its these twists to the powers that make it so interesting and original.

you can Rez , and the round are pretty fast paced . and it's not like you're going to die so easely . Smoke = Invincible ( only gust can dmg you ) . Teleport is a life saver . Tree of life is the perfect cover . and Rez is your best friend .

I am definitely going to buy this game, regardless of reviews, but why hasnt any official reviews been out out yet. Weird. I dont know where you are getting that information from. I bought it at Gamestop like any other game on the 30th. The only tech difficulty I am having is every so often there will be a "server disconnect". I always seem to get those on a new release game then a patch comes out.

There is a rez spell you use to "respawn"...with a nice little twist to it ;) you all know what im talking about that own the game..*coughcoughzomgmyrezzerisdownimbleedingoutcoughcough*

I would not say that Gears sucks but damn if any one who is online will be playing shadowrun for a llllllllooooooooonnnnggggg time.

So true, I thought Gears was as cool as the other side of the pillow at first.  Now I know that it sucks.

If you like racing games then yes get FM2. I got both SR and FM2 and both are great, but Forza is a little bit funnier (a killerapp of Racing games IMO)

Yeah I dont know why people complain about the graphics, IMO they look great (maybe not as good as GeoW but not as bad as RS:LV either)
