Should epic spend alot of money advertising ut3 like they did on gears of war?

i've been noticing epic isnt releasing alot of info on this game, im just hoping it wont end up in the dark corner position with an awesome score like unreal championship 2 did.

epic made alot of money off gears, so should they also on unreal tournament 3.

Yes Midway is publishing the game, and I think it will help UT3 out allot because it will be fighting Halo 3.

No. Everyone who wants to play UTIII is going to play it, and I don't want the casual players and the little kids clogging up the community. Besides, since it's going to be awesome, word of mouth of how good it is will go around soon enough and more people will buy it.Trickshot771

UC2 was horrible. Most unreal fans were still playing UT2k4 when that game came out, so there's no wonder why it failed. However UT3 is going to be a true successor, so there's going to be tons of people playing regardless of advertising.

That being said I won't be getting this for the 360 anyways, there'll be no way to mod it on the console and the mods are the majority of the fun.

Yeah, and you know they'll be nothing like what the PC gets. I had 10gb worth of mods/maps/skins for UT2k4 until my hard drive died. Epic will probably release their standard map packs and that'll probably be it. I can't see anyone actually paying for anything other than maps.
