I don't think you will get a full refund but you can try just say it was a gift....oh wait you opened it that won't work lol. Say you got it for a friend and after playing it his parents told him he had to rreturn it because it was too bad and they made you do it.

you should make your own decisions since you are the one playing it....not to sound rude or anything
i doubt that you will get a refund because of the fact that you want to return a game. games can only be exchanged. moreover, dont trade-in; you lose a great deal of money from the amount you bought it for and the amount you are selling it for
i recommend selling the game online on sites such as ebay, half, or amazon

try playing it for another hour or 2 and if u see your not having any fun so trade it..becuase the beggining was kinda boring I only started to enjoy it when I was 4 hours into it
I have given gta 4 many chances, I was in the same boat, I am still confused why people think gta4 was anything more then an updated and enlarged version of killing folks and running from the cops o.0 I traded mine in and picked up Eternal Sonata lol.. I was greatly surprised by it and do not think I'll touch anymore gta games in the future.
Shop assisstants are far more likely to give a full refund to a parent that claims to be confused, or that it is inappropriate for their child, than a teenager trying to return a game. Another tactic to try (if you are under 18) is to get an angry parent to return it demanding why they sold it to an underage child
If you've already played it i'm not sure if they'll give you a full refund because over here in the UK once you take off the wrapper you're not allowed to have a full refund but if you're not happy with the game by all means take it back to the store and see what they have to say bro.
Everybody on this thread are haters. GTA IV was a great game, the only reason why people would trade it in is because they take it for granted. I know I'm keeping it. I'm going to laugh when everybody rebuys it when the episodic content is released.
I really doubt I'll play gta iv again unless some cool downloadable content comes out on xbl. If theres another game you want to trade it in for I'd say go for it.
