Shouldn't Iron Maiden have their own game instead of just a track pack?

They are metal gods and they span decades with many amazing albums. They have songs that would supply a challenge for anyone who is good at any instrument. Why do they only get a dinky little track pack instead of a full game. Metallica got their own game, yet Maiden is ten times better.

I completely agree I would purchase it and I haven't bought ANY of the other games. Also in before someone says they suck :P.

I hate to burst your bubble, but iron maiden doesn't have near the popularity or name recognition of bands like the beatles, aerosmith, metallica, etc. Iron Maiden is a great band, they just aren't as recognizable as the ones I mentioned.

I don't understand why someone would be mad at me just for stating a fact. There are lots of great bands that don't have enough mainstream popularity to have their own game.

I'm just messin with you bro. But with over 75 million albums sold I'd say they have enough recognition. Besides they have some epic songs that would be amazing with a whole band like Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Paschendale, and Phantom of the Opera to name a few. Besides what other bands do you know who have their own line of Van's shoes.

I agree that they should have their own game, and I'd buy it in an instant if it came out, but I'm happy with the track pack. It's got pretty much all my favorite Maiden songs on it. It's pretty cool that they're all featured from their epic Somewhere Back in Time tour last year, especially since I went to it! Haha

All their songs are my favorites so a track pack just isn't good enough.

It sounds like a good idea, Im not a huge fan of Guitar Hero/Rockband, so I probably wouldn't rush out and buy it I can't see why the Beatles would get their own game....they are huge, but they are hardly Guitar Heroes or a "Rock" Band :P

I don't think they deserve their own game. Most of the Guitar Hero bands don't really deserve their own games.

I have no issues with The Beatles, though. They shaped an entire decade.

forgive me metal gods for saying this....ahem here I go. Metallica sold out that is why they are recognized so much. they stopped being metal once the black album came out. they made that mainstream jump like alot of bands do to garner more attention. and to do what media wants.

It comes down to statistics. If an Iron Maiden GH came out at the same time as all the other INSERT BAND NAME GHs, Iron Maiden would not sell nearly as many copies. The modern gamer is more likely to like Metallica than they are to like Maiden. The average Maiden fan is most likely not a hardcore gamer and would not rush out to buy it.

Metallica's movie made them look like whiny douchebags but Maiden's movie Flight 666 was actually very good andshowed the band's very positive attitude. It did them quite a bit of justice as well as show how entertaining Nicko Mcbrain is on and off the stage.

That's why fans and critics alike have described Death Magnetic as "Metallica's return to thrash metal" or something along the lines of that.

Dude I'm all for it! I honestly stopped listening at the Seventh son album, but I was a major Maiden head for years. Saw them at the Garden and Radio City Music Hall.

No, there are a lot more worthy bands and artists that should have their own game.

The only band I would want more would be Led Zeppelin and that's not gonna happen until Robert Plant dies. Rush, Black Sabbath, Anvil, and Yngwie Malmsteen would make for some good games. What bands would be more worthy in your opinion?

I would like to see a Rush game....such a huge library of material! Its all a matter of opinion in the end....I love Iron Maiden, Rush and Metallica along with many other bands But I honestly don't beleive that Aerosmith, The Beatles or Van Halen deserve their own music games....but they still got them

Oh come on! There are very few bands more influential to the world of Metal than Iron Maiden and judging from Guitar Hero's pro-Metal stylings it's a no-brainer.

I didn't say old stuff. I said thrash metal. And I would say All Nightmare Long is one of their best songs.
