hey everybody i hope this isnt a stupid question but does anyone know if theres a i guess sleep mode for the xbox? you know how you can set it to turn off after a certain amount of time. I like to watch tv when i go to sleep but i have no cable in my room and use netflix. But I dont want to fall asleep with my xbox running all night. Anyone know?

It's not a stupid question to me. I am exactly like you and unfortunately the 360 does not have a sleep mode. My PS3 which I mainly use because of smalls things like this, does have it however.

Dang, thanks for the quick response though, maybe they should add that to their new dashboard...a sleep mode, would come in very handy

The Xbox 360 has an auto off feature that is in the system settings. Sadly your only option is to set your box so it shuts off after 6 hours.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think that if you go into the parental settings you can set an amount of time to play then turn off that's under 6 hours.
