Rock Band right now is the game I really want to play. I might have to pony up and buy the 170 dollar beast. Give your impressions if you have played it and post pics of your setup if you have any.

Yea I want this game as well but I also still haven't gotten GH 3. But or the price both of them I could get a Wii so I'm not sure what I wanna do yet. Maybe I'll just ask for Rock Band for Christmas even though it might jeapordize me getting a MacCrash6
don't do that. Rock Band is sweet I'm sure, but a new computer will last you years. I would take a new Mac over Rock Band.
I want it too. If I get money for christmas Im going to buy the game since I have Gh3 controller and it works for that. I really hope they have the game seperate by then!Shade-Blade
They do sell the game separately, I bought it today. I too bought Guitar Hero III, and I use the wireless Les Paul that comes with it to play Rock Band. I don't care for the other instruments so I went ahead and bought the stand alone game today, and I'm extremely happy I did.
Playing Nirvana (Bloom and soon the full album of "Nevermind"), Metallica (Enter Sandman, plus Metallica's DLC), Bon Jovi (Wanted Dead or Alive) and Blue Oyster Cult (Don't Fear the Reaper) is just amazing, and I can't wait for the DLC that this game will bring.
A lot of people say that it's a waste to play Rock Band by yourself. That might be their opinion, but it's not mine. It makes just as much sense to play the solo career with your guitar in Rock Band as it does in Guitar Hero. Maybe the game was meant for groups, but I prefer me, my guitar, and some bad ass music any day.:D
Besides, my younger cousins bought the bundle so if I ever want to play in a band, I'll go to their house.
