So next holiday season will you be on the new call of duty or Gears 3?

DEFINATLY gears for me. no question. not that i still dont like call of duty its just...i dunno, i get that if you played one youve played them all feeling recently. and gears man, i just gotta see how the story wraps up and play beast mode!

Gears 3. I'll pick up the 2011 CoD but if the multiplayer gets exploited the way MW2's does then I'll probably take a walk from the series. Kinda sad that to get a fair game you gotta play CoD4 or WaW.

Not sure how long, but hopefully Gears 3. I hope they fixed the multiplayer that was Gears 2, and then I'll be on it for YEARS.

Gears of war..Its the best game on the xbox 360 this gen..Ill be playing the single player game..Havent touched the multiplayer on number 2..Didnt like it as much as one..Im looking forward to seeing how gow3 turns out..Hopefully they dont make it into a halo series, or another cod series..Let it end at number 3..

Gears of War 3 all the way!! Gears is the main reason i wanted a 360 and is my fav game for that console. Black Ops might be the first COD game i've ever bought and may be the only one for a long time unless they come up with something so amazing in a future installment. If that ends up being the case, i'll get both but the anticipation wont be nearly as close as it would be for Gears 3.

on a side note gears 3 is a day one purchase for me, even though i'll prolly still get mw3 if it looks good, and it gets good reviews, ill buy it later at 5 dollars cheaper :(

Thanks for the info-- honestly, I didn't know that (I'm still relatively new to the 360-- I've only been playing it since January).

Gears of War - there shouldn't even be a doubt here. Call of Duty's a great game franchise, but let's face it - we've seen it done five times with Call of Duty in its name and several other times with different names. The genre's great, people love it - why stop making games that follow its premise? Gears, on the other hand, couples a great campaign with top-notch graphic quality and awesome multiplayer modes (Which, I admit, I'm not a great fan of - CoD beats GoW as far as Multiplayer Versus goes, if you ask me).
