the 11'th im turning 17. do you think the gamestop employee there would let me off with getting it? I pre-ordered it too haha. I just wanna be like "dude....am i really 12 hours not mature enough to buy this game?" I personally think the rating system is ridiculous .

C: Well do you have any form of ID? Even if you are 17 and don't have an ID you will need a parent to buy it for you as, they may not believe you. This still happens to me and I'm 19.

Gamestop emploees Have to I.D. EVERYBODY for mature games you look 18 or 80 It doesn't matter they have to, Or they can be fired

Whenever I go to Gamecrazy and get an "M" rated game they still I.D. me sometimes, and I'm 18.

It'd be funny if you showed them your ID card and they noticed it was one day off and told you to wait until the next day. I would totally do that to someone if they were in that position just because it would be hilarious.

I'm pretty sure they'll check for ID. I vowed to never buy from Gamestop again since they wouldn't sell me the strategy guide for Resident Evil 4 without an ID. That was at least 2 years ago. When I bought Fablea few more years back, they asked for an ID, but saw my mom was in the store. A few days ago I went to but Borderlands (since all the Gamecrazy's just closed in Tucson) they wanted an ID again. Soooo... I dont know why you guys are saying that it doesnt matter. On the other hand, my friend who was 15 at the time, asked to buy Fable 2, and when they asked for an ID he walked away and said "I guess you dont want my money" and the employee said he'd just sell it to him.:P

IDing people at my work is like the best thing ever... I'm going to be owning kids all night tomorrow without there ID's. You guys must live next to some fail gamestops if they don't card you for M rated games. The ESRB is always down are throats here on the west coast.

Don't they send mystery shoppers? So if say, you sell a mature rated game to a person without them showing their ID, you can lose your job?
