they made sure to tell the world, and all the media how they're giving us a free game to make it up to us...

then didn't even tell us when they did it.

basically if you didn't happen to check a video game website around the time, you missed it. (though the game is poor but still, hate the way M$ did that.)

It sucked because I was out of town in the window they allowed for downloading it.

There were several posts on a number of tech sites (Engadget, Gizmodo,...). Not just when it happened but more than a week in advance. It was also on the XBL marketplace under free stuff.

Not to mention there were ads about it on my Dashboard during the time it was free and it was on Inside Xbox as well. Honestly, I don't see how it could get anymore in your face than that.

Complete BS microsoft has a lot of peoples e-mail or they could send everyone a messege over xbox live. I only play a few games and hardly ever go the dashboard. Its a sneaky a BS way that only pisses people off more. Give us 800 points for 480 points would have been a smarter move. Get people to actually look at the downloadable HD movies or tv shows or whatever live game they wanted and they would have seen a sales boost because a lot of people never buy anything through there rip off service.

Also what if I already had Undertow then I guess I am **** out of luck. If I had already bought it actually Id be pissed because Id have wasted the money. I dont mind paying a small $50 a year for live infact I think the price makes it better since they have money to put back into it I didnt even mind that the service was F*cked up. But I do mind when MS says they are giving out a free game and dont people and dont even give them a choice.

Why is Oblivion addons still the same price? DROP THE PRICE now I play oblivion with the expansions and user made MODS on the computer and the graphics and experience is much better.

really? that's what i was expecting, was that they'd tell us or message us. but i never once got any messages/saw ads about the free game. so i assumed they didn't tell us.

and canadians (or me anyway, so i assume all) didn't have that inside xbox thing at the time. we just got it about a week ago (that's the little news thing, above your friends/messages right?)
