So who else changed their mind about Fable 2 after that god-awful gameplay vid?

Don't care. that's all I needed to see to know i will not be purchasing Fable 2. Did everyone SEE the combat? it looks laughably bad.

some kid on here said that it looked like your were murdering stuffed animals, and i couldn't agree more. it looks absolutely terrible. shame, peter. you fail again.

Not sure if there is an exact release date yet, GS only has it as TBA 2008, so there is still plenty of time for things to be changed.

I decided against getting any more Lionhead Studio games after the original Fable. On its own merit, it was a decent RPG. But it was probably the biggest letdown of any game I have ever played. Molyneux built it up to be the greatest game of all time and bragged about all these impressive features, which when it came time to actually play the game were either insignificant or nonexistant.

Fable 2? No thank you. Fallout 3? Definitely.

The game art and design looks great just like the first one.. but the gameplay and size of the world were definately lacking and looks like it will be no different. Fable was okay but this sequel isn't ding anything for me from what I have seen so far...

I think it will end up a lot like the orignial game promising s much and instead it lacks a lot of depth and quests as well as just stuff to do and places to go.

Yes, Im definitely having more hope in Fallout 3, that one looks real good.

So after lots of great vids it only takes one vid for you to decide if youll but the game? So now that youve made up your mind TC, will you keep it even if the game gets all kinds of high scores and shows great vids? nah, this is what the deal is. I didn't like the first Fable, I found it to be a huge dissapointment, it fell flat on its own face.

I did however, have more hope in this one after some stuff i heard. I never saw any good gameplay videos, i just heard some good things. and yet again, this game looks like an underwhelming stinker. so no thank you.

I've been told that Fallout has been known for great combat. From my experience, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has had the best combat in any RPG I have ever played. It is also better than many other games that are not even RPGs.

When you say "You Fail Again" do you mean with Fable 1...because if you think thats a fail you shouldnt even be allowed on GS. No one cares if you don't like the combat. Yes I admitt it isn't the best but its a VIDEO GAME! Go ahead and don't buy the game, no one here gives a sh*t!

Yeah, Oblivion's combat wails over most. Seriously, if they could combine Oblivions combat with Morrowind's depth and storyline, we'd be good to go.
