Heya people

I recently brought a Nyko Intercooler, and a Pelican Fan Stand.  The problem with the Nyko Intercooler only resulted in the first batch, ever released I heard.

So I went ahead and brought them, I plugged up the Nyko Intercooler correctly, and the console and the fans did'nt boot, I thought the Intercooler was broken, so I took it off, asked friends, and they said that they had the problem, wiggle it around abit, so I did and after 3 days of trying to get it to work, I gave up and started using the Fan stand.  So I plugged that up and great it works, cause it only uses the AC on the mains, not the 360, and yet it don't keep the console cool, the console still warms up the same and still feels hot.  So I don't think it works, but the fans are spinning cause I felt the air when I lifted the console up.

I plugged the Nyko up to my friends and instant working, I did'nt know how or why it works on his, and not on mine.  And his console is working great now for a week.  The console feels like it's not even on when it's been on all day, it's completely cold.

Could someone help me on why it would'nt work in mine, and did in my friends, also help me with the fan stand on why my 360 still warms up, and not keep it cool.  I need to keep it cool.

I been thinking of opening up the 360 so you see inside, and leaving it open, so air actually gets inside it, what you lot think.

Thanks in advanced

The console is going to get warm, there's no use worrying about it. Unless its crashing alot I doubt you even need an intercooler.

If you're worried about the 360 getting warm maybe it's best that you don't ever play it, cos you know it gets warm. It's called being on. As for opening your 360 up, you like your warranty right?

1. I don't have a warranty on it anyway. I took it apart and changed the casing. I know it's going to get warm, your clever aint you, but it does lock up, every now and then. My friends one with the Nyko 'DOES'NT' lock up.

My console locks up every now and then. Just tells me to leave it for an hour or so an go back to it. Nothing to warry about. Word is though is that the intercooler will eventually do more damage than good.

when i had mine (before i got my intercooler which works great) it used to heat up like yours. but i found out after playing for hours straght with a friend that it takes time to cool. so after about 2-3 hours of playing it was actually pretty cool.
