Some suggestions?

Is mass effect any good? i want a game with a good story and gameplay.

If you want a good story and some fabulous gameplay then yes, Mass Effect is definitely a good choice, it's one of my favourite games

And yeah I have heard it's a good game with flaws, weak combat being one of them.

That depends on how you mean like KOTOR, the battle systems are completely different, ME doesn't have turn based combat, But there is just as much running around and maybe even more dialogue in ME compared to KOTOR.

I havent played mass effect yet but if you want one that has a good story grab mass effect... Or if uyour looking for something differint maybe COD 4, Halo or someBioshock will help (incase u dont have)

Oh yeah, I going through my third run through right now. I think the story and game play is great. When/if you get don't forget to get the Bring down the Sky expansion.grouse4641
