We did have something special, but now it's gone. I've been pretty depressed lately, mainly because people have ignored me completely for the last couple of weeks. I've been so lonely, and in desperate need for a companion. It's good you realized your mistake, but it's too late now. I don't have a desire to live anymore. Dear Gears of War,

Hey, how's it going? I know we haven't really seen eachother in two weeks, but I just wanted to say that I messed up, the past two weeks have meant nothing to me. We had something special, something unique, and I threw it away for the pretty new game in town. You remember when I killed all four Locust with two shotgun shots and two nades? I've never experienced anything like that from Halo, I swear! You and I were something people dream about having. I know we had our hard times... like when you wouldn't want me to hang out with my friends, but its cool. I understand that I need to hang out with other people to make it fair. I just want to put this whole Halo thing behind us and get what we had back.

I'd have to agree with the Halo bashing, and add some of my own. Halo 3 is nothing special when compared to 2 or even the first. I don't understand Gamespot's 9.5 score, or XBOX Magazine's perfect score of 10. Bioshock received the same scores and was a much better and much more original game. Halo 3 is a simple and at times very boring FPS. Gears and Bioshock are incredibly imaginative, engrossing games.

I have played Gears maybe once since Halo 3 came out and I truly do miss it. I hope what the poster a few above me said and all the newbs are gone so I can play in peace without quitters and morons.

Sorry, but it was more of a one night stand. I got bored of you and moved on, so should you. I felt like I got out-played every time I came over to your house and sometimes you would just quit right in the middle of it; leaving me all alone. Sometimes, I don't know, I felt like talking to you, but you would never let me know what was happening. Now, you're moving on to bigger and better things and getting a completely new face-lift and some new features while leaving me, probably others too, out in the cold. Anyways, now I met someone else who calls me "Master Chief" and I just want to finish what I started with her. Good luck in the future and maybe I'll come back for a quick one.

I was helping master chief finish the fight when I met a man called Marcus. I became friends with him and soon decided that he needed my help more than chief. I also noticed that Marcus was a lot nicer looking (graphics) than master chief so I decided to spend my time killing locusts with him. I didn't have many friends when I was helping master chief but when I left to fight locust I met many nice people. Sadly two of them died but me and my new friend Cole Train have become good friends. The only negative thing about leaving with Marcus is that the old general guy doesn't seem to like me.

For two weeks I dated a supermodel Named Halo 3, just for her looks.

But, it turns out, when itwas over and done, she wasn't all that good looking, and was a pretty shallow person.

I think some people are comparing apples to oranges but I will agree with that last statement.

It'll be interesting to see what gamers will say if/when Gears and Bioshock produce sequels. I suppose they could be littered with words like: unoriginal, boring, uninventive, more of the same, etc.

It's doubtful they could rake in the money the Halo franchise has. I think the franchise has brought a helluva lot more exposure to gaming and made it more mainstream. Just look at all the marketing wh*res who got Halo 3 licensing just to ride the wave!

People can have their opinions on Gears, H3, R6V, Bioshock, etc. but even non-fanboys can't dispute the numbers that Halo 3 has put out.

I never really thought Halo was that creative when it first came out... it was just a copy of quake and other good games like that.NineDaysWonder

Halo is nothing like Quake, I never found the appeal to Gears online,but thats my opinion, I played better online games on the 360 then it.

Didn't you watch Shallow Hal, if you had something that you knew was beautiful, but everyone was telling you that this other thing was better would you ditch what you have for what everyone else likes? No, Halo is just a overhyped slut that takes all your time and gives a minimal amount of pleasure back.
