I wonder if there will ever be an original game released again. Seems like Tom Clancy is getting to be like EA....Releasing basically the same games every year but doing minor changes.
graphics looks really amazing. I wounldn't expect the usual splinter cell gamplay from it though, since they confirmed that Sam quits working undercover so no more gadgets.

Back to the scans... they look pretty straight-forward to me. Nothing special or breathtaking here folks. Just a man in some sort of office complex throwing chairs. I think people are just excited that it's a new Splinter Cell game, and aren't actually taking in what they're seeing. It looks like a game alright... but nothing all that exciting.

Couldn't agree with you more man. I don't think UbiSoft realizes that Splinter Cell was great because you played as a SPLINTER CELL! You got to hide in the shadows(not sunlight behind tables), turn on your night vision goggles(not put on your sunglasses) and snap peoples necks(not throw chairs at them). Ubisoft basically went suicide with the series, they decided to try something COMPLETELY new with a new generation of consoles. They shoulda just seen how it went if they could make a nex gen version of the before splintercell and not start a completely new Splinter Cell.
People seem to forget how Tom Clancey stories usually go... they dont stay the same for very long. Didnt jack ryan become vice president at some point... after starting as an intel person?
it looks nice, but i wont be picking it up anytime soon after it comes out due to the fact i have yet to beat any of the tom clancy games i already have simply cuz i get bored with them easily
Hmm, interesting. In one part of the interview, Steven Hill notes that in order to develop for the PS3, they would have to significantly simplify the lighting in the game. Seeing as this article is in Finnish though, I doubt it'll raise as much coverage as the GTAIV debacle.
On another note, the game looks absolutely sweet, but I don't like Sam's new look. He looks like some sort of 25-year old Visual Arts major... Yuck!
Hmm I remmeber when I used to LOVE the Splinter Cell series. #1 and #2 were amazing, Chaos Theory I never finished but I'm thinking about going back 'n playing it again. Then I'll needa buy DA cuz I needa know WTF is going on with this new game... But from the screens, I'm not impressed :( I guess I'll have to wait until GS or GI or OXM has an article about it to really understand what's going on, but right now I'mnot really lookign forward to this game 0.o
