I know one of these threads is made daily regarding various games different online communities, but I don't see any point in getting this game if I can't play it with anyone.

So do many still play it online? Or is it more or less dead, like a year after release?

Thanks.

Back when i still had an xbox 360, the community was...ok. Nothing amazing, but you may find a few matches.

i havent played in a long while...but when i was playing 1vs1 it wasnt great. most people would drop games in matches they were losing, it made the whole experience frusterating.

The community isn't that strong, but you will find a game. The biggest problem is finding someone that is any good. Majority of the players ive seen are bad at it, and well its not a game you can be bad at. Its not that hard, but if your new to it your going to ruin the game for you both.

Your best bet is to find a single person that enjoys playing it often and you two play it yourselves.

I don't think its that hard to find a game. The issue is finding a game mode that is the one you want to play. If nobody is playing the specific level/mode that you want to play, the game will let you know and they it sets you up with a someone playing something close to what you wanted, annoying. However if you go to the Splinter Cell: Conviction board and make a thread asking if anyone wants to do co-op people are bound to respond. I often play with people from this board. Its nice because you can make it clear what type of person you want to play with (headset, experience level, difficulty level, etc). BTW it sucks playing this game with someone that doesn't have a headset, which is what often happens with randoms.

It's pretty small but you'll always find a match. I haven't played it in a few months but I've been meaning to get back into the MP and co-op.

Played couple weeks ago and had no problem finding matches in face off or co op campaign. Haven't had live for a couple weeks because my router is messed up but not much can change in that short period of time.

The games great, but the servers are horrible you will constantly face lag and time outs. Fantastic single player, and great online if you find a strong connection.
