I have just started and after about 2 hours i am at a part in the map that has a rollercoster. The pointer on the compass directs me to the door of the building in the middle of the abandoned rollercoster.

Problem i am having is that i keep dying because i cannot take out the 5 or more enemies in that house. I don't know if i should be leveling up somewhere else before going on with the mission but even after lowering the difficulty i am still getting killed because i don't have enough ammo, health, skills.

So do you have to level up, (i just keep getting shot at from things and people that i can't see...not like other games that show you exactly where its coming from).

Any help on what you should do when starting????

I was level 3 and I got threw just fine, shame about the guy I had to save. but I held back in the corridor I came in, and waited for them to come to me one by one.

If you cant see anyone hold B, and if that didn't help then turn up the brightness.

This is what you do. If you are low level, make sure you have a leather armor at least plus a good gun (a single shotgun for example)

There is a door to the left, before the big hall (area) with the sleeping matts. Use the door it will lead you straight to the deputy. Initiate a conversation wtih him fast and tell him to leave (NOT to follow but leave the building). then distract the guard by running and shooting at them to follow you in the big area, where the sleeing mattresses are. You have to be fast and be able to take some bullets...Hurry up and exit the building, dont worry about the deputy, once you exit the building (provided that you did not spend too much time in there after you save Beagle) he will be outside..

Go into V.A.T.S, and after that do whatever cheap tactics you need to do. Also, if you have any other quests, try them first instead.

Dynamite.

Doesn't even matter if you have any explosives or not.

Just whip dynamite.

I was level 3. I went and used a Varmint rifle and some dynamite for the corridors. By the time I got out of Primm I had a crippled leg, high dehydration and was starving. Didn't take long to get back to a half-decent state though.

The best advice I can give you is to crouch when firing in VATs and to try and bottleneck the enemy into corridors.

If you are truly stuck, switch the difficulty.
