Startup: Dashboard or Game?

Dashboard because i like to look at the new things added.

No, it's just the fact that I'm forced to look at their ads. Most of the time I have no interest in them.

No, it's just the fact that I'm forced to look at their ads. Most of the time I have no interest in them.

That is a good point. You shouldn't have to look at ads in a pay-to-use service.

Dashboard, I like to see who's on beforeI start playing.

Dashboard of course, I want to see which of my friends are online and what they're doing before starting a game. And sometimes I like to check the spotlight and the marketplace also for news about games and new videos.

My eyes weren't closed when I set down fifty bucks on the counter for a year of Live

Honestly, if you're gonna complain about a few ads on something, even if you paid $50 a year for it, you've got problems far beyond that.

Dashboard. I have never wanted to start a game up immediately.

Okay, well think about this:

For Xbox Live to stay successful, members have to pay for it to stay afloat, unlike PS3/Wii online play.

APART from that, I'm sure the people at Microsoft get paid for all of the ad views they get. It's like they're taking advantage of us.
