Okay so last night there was this kid on xbox live, he must have been about 12 (playing COD3 which i know is rated 15 in UK and 18 i think in the US). But who hasn't played a game thats got a age limit that they dont meet, anyway the kid was chatting away over the mic, reporting enemy positions and the usual Damnit! when he got killed. I couldnt believe my ears when i heard adults swearing and cursing at him just because his voice hadnt broken, THE KIDS ONLY 12 leave him alone. What is it with people on Xbox Live?
Well a lot of the kids you play on live are annoying, irratate the hell out of people with their over loud voices and act like morons...............but then again most people on live are like that.
Happens to everyone, if the kid had Xbox Live for a while I'd imagine hes used to it, I get picked on quite a bit, not cause of my voice but because of my gamertag, lol, idk what I was thinking...
I'm 14 and my voice is quite high, it hasn't broken fully yet. I don't mind most kids on their as long as their normal. As soon as they start trash talking and acting like morons then I get annoyed. I get the piss taken aswell for my voice, so I know what it's like. The only thing i don't agree with is, i met a 10 year old playing gears of war. No matter if he is mature no 10 year old should be playing it. 14-15 okay, but under 12 is too young.

Tbh, its always better to keep things like that to yourself. Im 16, and I have a pretty deep voice, even for someone whose voice has broken. Admittedly, mature people, regardless of age don't deserve that kind of abuse unless they really are being holes (in which case, anybody deserves abuse). The thing that really annoys me is when you get 4 kids all crammed round the same mic, shouting and screaming.
ya well kids usuallys dont call out enemies they just scream into the mic or something, i have no problem but cant wait to see Halo 3 come out cause I know there will be less kiddies playing everything else
I will stay polite as long as no one is directly offencive to me, (Im 17) and i dont mind that lil kids want to play xbl, good for them :D chances are it was probably set up as a prezie for them from xmas or some thing, cant be mean and ruin the best thing about the 360 just coz of their age...
I am 14 years old but nobody has every made fun of me because I act pretty mature and my voice is pretty deep. Though when I was playing escalation one time these guys just started making fun of me and telling me I sucked, than the one guy said hes gonna find where I love and hes going to slit my throat. I wish there was some way to report that to microsoft. Thats just uncalled for. Turned out though I had 13 kills at the end and they only had 11. Guess I didnt suck after all.
Iv had death threats on me before after a Lostplanet game... our team was loosing and it was like a min to go, i got the homing laser things and won the game for us :) i was chuffed but i didnt even say any thing to rub it in during the lobby but all i got was "ALVARES I HOPE YOU DIE! GO CUT UR SELF NO ONE CARE! GO ON! YOU (a few mins of swaring.." ect u get the idea :P

QFE! lol I have played with 12-16 years olds, and in some cases the 12 yr old have been more mature than the 16 yr old. It's on a case by case basis. But there are alot of annoying kids out there that make a bad name to the rest, and quite frankly, 12-14 yr olds playing GoW? Do the parents care at all? My son, once born and in his teens, will have to wait till at least 15 or 16 to play 17+ rated games, 14 if he is mature enough, but that's really pushing it. Rating is there for a reason, and I don't believe games make you kill ppl IRL, but they do have other effects like attitude and doing bad in school. Harsh? Maybe, but I want to be a responsable gaming parent and I believe in the ESRB.
put it this way. if you open your trap your fair game to get slammed. not everyone is courteous and respectful. you get 14 year olds, just an example, not generalizing all of you, with the mentality they are the *hi* and you get 30 year olds with the mentality of 14 year olds. its actually quite entertaining to see the moral fabric of society unravel over XBL lol. its only a game though so really who cares. its one thing though to retaliate against someone versus just slamming them for no reason which is pretty weak imo.
There Really Annoying Sometimes and they do the most Idiotic things like Screaming,Whineing,Breathing Heavily Threw There Mic,Whine Some more, Etc.Im not saying all of them are like this but the Majority of them are.Im acctualy one of those pepole thats start screaming at them or simply mute them i cannot stand some of the little kids on Xbox Live just drives me crazy.
Times i get yelled at its mostly because im Winning the game ( In GEoW ) other than that nobody acctual talkes about My Voice,Though i do get in Arguements constantly because im usally wining the game with my Team.But other than that i have no problem with pepole over Live.
