Stupid People rather buy Halo 3 then Orange Box or Mass Effect

I am reading something here that says Halo 3 triumphs Orange Box, Mass Effect combined. But why? Halo 3 had a dissapointing story, a faulty map editor, faulty maps, not great graphics, no surprises, and an ending that didn't sit well(yes I waited till the creits rolled and yes I beat it on Legendary with the alt ending). Where as orange box contains 5 games. 4 of which have better stories and 1 that has a deeper and less kiddish multiplayer mode. The orange box even has better graphics! Plus the weapons that I don't have to drop are better!

Oh here come the tards who say that TF2's design is kiddish. Well the fact that I can blow up a dude and see his rotiing leg on the floor along with a pool of blood is anything but kiddish.

Then Mass Effect, a true inovation is also denied for a game with lousy story. Mass Effect has different stories longer stories, better weapons, a simple cover system! everything a smart person wants. Why pick halo 3 instead?

That's the question: Why would you rather play Halo 3 than Orange Box and Mass Effect. Or answer for the tards.

get ready to get killed by saying:faulty map editor, Halo 3 has lots of awesome things: H3 is AN AWESOME STORY, i dont know what ur talking about, graphics are pretty good but not the best, And you must be blind if you think Orange Box has better graphics than H3... Halo 3 is Obviously shorter than Mass Effect because Mass Effect is an RPG wich is menat to be long and Orange Box has 5 games in it so no sh*t its longer, H3 has "The Forge" which is awesome, Amazing and competitve online and an awesome but short campain. Ur reasons suck.

The Orange Box is good and all, but it doesn't have replay value, at least until more people either start playing Team Fortress 2 or we get a new DLC for more Portal maps or Episode 3. Mass Effect is good olde skool RPGing, but it's much less satisfying than repeatedly owning human players rather than AI.

I wanted Halo 3 to be good, I still have my Finish the Fight sweatshirt and I even have the Legendary edition! I just love the helmet.But Forge is faulty with the stupid budget system. Anyone who has played Far Cry can tell you that it has a better editor. But soccer balls are fun......when used with an engine that doesn't suck.

Also, who thinks more companies should take the valve route and delay if needed. Valve delays whenever there's a small problem and that's a good thing cause we always get a great game from them. But some developers cut corners and just ship it off to make money

Just a correction, but Valve didn't make Op. Force or Blue Shift. Gearbox Software are the ones who made those expansions to Half Life 1; Valve just published them (well, Sierra published them originally; then Valve got publishing rights to them when they were big enough to publish games).

well, there both on steam and they are both add ons to a game created by valve. so it's pretty close

People who think people are total tools for liking Halo 3 are believe it or not are total tools. Just because hating something that is popular is the popular thing to do doesn't make your opinion suddenly greater than everyone elses. Orange Box and Mass Effect good game, Halo 3 good game. Halo 3 was advertised more get over it. After more than 3 months noone cares that you didn't like Halo 3, get over yourself. There is a time and place to voice your opinion. You got the place right a video game site but you got the time wrong. Today is January 7th 2008, people gave a crap on September 25th 2007.

words of a person who got his ass kicked in multiplayer. please listen to me, I had a hardcorehalo fanfriend, who came to the release lunch of Halo 2 and 3. after he got his ass wooped in multiplayer, he stopped playing halo, i asked him why? and he came up with a bunch of excuses about how halo sucks its boring, COD4 is going to be better, and **** like that. well this is 1 day after the release lunch of the game. my point is, after you play halo over xbox live. you're gonna change the point of view of the game.
