I second all those and add CoD4,Left 4 Dead, Assassins Creed,and Mass Effect.

There are a lot of great games, but you definitely need to buy The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Fallout 3. I also suggest Bioshock, but since since Bioshock 2 is coming out later this year you may want to rent it instead of buying it. It is an incredible game though. I also suggest Gears of War (one or two, they're both good) and either Call of Duty: World at War or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (they're both good, it just depends on which setting for the story you like most). Far Cry 2, Mass Effect, and Left 4 Dead are great too, but they aren't as amazing as the rest on this list, although they are better than many other games. Overall, make sure that you buy Oblivon and Fallout 3.

EDIT: I also suggest Assassin's Creed. It is a great game, and has amazing graphics.
