Survery for all Xbox 360 Owners (UPDATED June 25th)

I'm on my fourth console. First had the RROD. Second had disc read errors. Third wouldn't sync up with controllers - I think it's the same one as the fourth(same serial but different manufacture date, also got a new power brick). My fourth console is showing some...eccentricities, I hope its okay...

I'm just happy that I've never had a problem with disc scratching, that is by far the worst problem imo.

My only RRoD was about 3-4 weeks ago, I already got my replacement console yesterday. Before that, I've had several run-ins with disc errors, probably around 4-6 total. That console didn't have the new falcon cooling system, this one might but I haven't checked. Dark_Pheonix01

Wow, I could never have that kind of persistence with a console - I was really pissed when my PS2 got the dreaded disc-read error. I don't think I could handle that many console failures.

My first one stopped reading discs, and my second one got the red ring of kaput. I have an in-store warranty, though, so in both cases I was up gaming again in less than an hour.

I feel sorry for the "four or more" crowd. My first one broke within the first day, I traded it in for a new one, and the new one has worked flawlessly.w4rgasm

No - it's because so many people have made up imaginary values for the failure rate of the 360 and the PS3, because there have been no "official" numbers for either console, so I decided to make these threads to find out for myself.
