Lately whenever I turn on my xbox it goes as usual, but then the red flashing light comes and it says that a system error has occured and it shows "E68" and a red ring shows around the power button with one wedge on the lower right hnad side.

I turn off the xobox and then run it on again, and it starts normally.  Any ideas what the problem is?  Anything I should test or do differently?

You, my friend, have just been RRoD'd.

Send the console in to MS, and they'll send back a new one.  The RRoD means that there was a hardware failure.

E68 is the voltage problem if I remember corrctly. I get this sometimes, and it's usually when I have my huge bulky headset plugged in and my iPod is using my 360 to charge. It can also have something to do with the hard-drive. I got this error when my 360 was reurned to me. The fan sounded like a jet engine, so I'm guessing that's what started to suck all of the power. I'd suggest unplugging anything you don't need from your 360, but definately get it repaired.
