that "whirring" noise after closing the disc tray.

is it ok to shut off the console while the console is making that noise? is that noise even normal? i've had about 4 or 5 360's and they've all made that noise. RDR froze on me today and so did ACII, so call me paranoid. *knocks on wood.*

i think if you bang the disk drive slightly the 360 will make that noise for the rest of its life. I don't think it relates to the duration of your 360 life though, good luck!

i forgot to mention that my xbox has been making that noise for 4-5 months now
