Rarely do I have 7 friends online at the same time. Very rarely. 3 or 4 yea, but never 7. It's sad those are the only two options you could think of to "fix" the problem.
Epic needs to do something about that stupid update that damaged Gears online by not being able to connect to matches as much and a lot more lag, they need to apply a new update that turns the online back to normal, and therefore, people will start playing again.
i always get bad feedback for leaving early, its the only bad feedback ive ever gotton. yet i never want to leave, dont be such a hard ass, you wouldn't like it if you joined a game then got dissconected and got a ban for basicaly no good reason. So stop cryin' about it.

Somethings up with your connection then cause I've NEVER been disconnected during a match. And prankster, no, people didn't quit in Halo 2. People always stayed. The ranking and matchmaking system was just perfect.
Sometimes people have to quit for one reason or another. Not everyone can sit down for however long it takes to be the first team to 19 or whatever other rediculous requirement is set by the host.
Again, whenever I have quit (which I have done numerous times) it was because something had come up in the real world and I had to leave the virtual battle.
Sorry, get over it. Step up your game to make up for the lost player is the only real advice I can give you.

Same thing happens to me. About every 3rd day my internet goes from perfect to crap, and it's hard to play.
Of course not,Epic could subtract a million points at a time anf you will always get quitters,it's just a fact of internet gaming get over it,i mean it's not like the type of guys who quit are any good lol
