Well I just downloaded the xbox live arcade game "geometry wars" its a blast and my favorite so far, so I thought everyone could post their favorite must-own xbox live arcade games here.
Lumines Live... best puzzle game I've played since the Tetris days and I've logged as many hours in it as I have in Oblivion. People say it's expensive, but with all the add-on content it's probably around $20, which is the price of the PSP version... but it's got double the content of that version. By a longshot my favorite XBLA game. Geometry Wars is a good one too though.
Best classic arcade release is, IMO, Paperboy... though you've got to give it up for Robotron and Joust.
EDIT: If you haven't got it, Uno's a good buy too... classic game for only $5 and it has a robust online community.Â
I'm loving boom boom rocket right now. Marble Blast is also pretty good, as well as heavy weapon and GEO wars. MK3 is the ultimate two player game, i could play match after match with a friend who knows what they're doing.
