I currently have the wireless headset. If you already have a headset then I wouldn't recommend it but if a new one is needed it is good.

 Wireless -

Pros: Good Sound, Wireless(lol), Small, Good battery. To ear pieces to adjust to size of ear. Connects to the 360 not the controller, Easy to view battery status by pressing the guide button.

Cons: Uncomfortable after long gaming, Power button to mute(I prefer button on controller), Needs a good charge when purchased, Cant charge when playing.

sometimes the wireless has alot of interference and makes very annoying noise to other players but this fixed by turning it off and on.

I just used the standard Xbox 360 headset, I had plantronics and other headsets before but these headsets just work great.

I agree with that, but I only notice it once I take it off. Then it feels weird.

The only mic I have had success with is the wired M$ headset.  All the wireless and third party ones have had problems.

I'm still using the original mic I got with the 360 and haven't had any problems whatsoever. The little wire doesn't bother me in the least. So unless you need a new mic, I wouldn't bother getting a wireless one.
