I went to blockbuster today and rented F.E.A.R. When I put it into my 360 a video came up saying to please put this disk into an xbox 360. Confused I took out the disk and saw the big scratch ring around it. (Usually from tilting the xbox in play.) I wiped it off alittle bit and the game started but then the disk is unreadable thing appeared. Is there a way to make it so the ring wont affect the game?  I have some cleaning stuff for CD'S. But I dont know if it would help. The scratch is light. Its not even that deep. I cant even feel an indent in it. So is it fixable?

That is a problem with renting games. I stopped renting games back when stuff like that happened more and more often. The shop should check the disc every time somebody hands it back in. Just in and explain and get a different copy of it out.

The big scratch ring usually happens when you move your console while the disc is spinning. If you get this you should go back to the video store and get a new disc.
