The Elder Scrolls: Obivion - Vampire Question.

I read that when your character gets turned into a vampire and you don't feed on anyone for 24 hours you become more powerful. My character has been a vampire for nearly a week (in-game week) and hasn't changed again since becoming a vampire, is there a glitch with the game or is it just mine?

I was able to become more powerful with my other character but it still took almost a week (in-game) of sleeping before he was fully a vampire. I was thinking it may be something to do with the races, my current character is a Khajiit.

i believe you have to sleep if you haven't already. if i remember right, don't you have some sort of dream when you sleep before you turn into a vampire?tgschmidt

yeah you have to go to sleep if you want to become a vampire, or take a cure diseace potion if you don'tZimpanX

It has NOTHING to do with race.  Read the gamespot oblivion guide.....

You wait 24 hours, sleep.  Go up a "level" of vampirism.  Wait another 24, sleep go up another.  Repeat 2 more times and you are fully a vampire.  It really isn't that hard.

the azura temple quest is in the main questline and will give you vampire dust.

also to the TC, my game sometimes does that, I believe if you dont move after you wake up, you will stay at the same vampirism, if i were you, i'd do a few nightime errands
