The games we regret buying for the Xbox 360

staints row has bad graphics? I took SR's graphics as a welcomed relief from GTA 3 - SA.

BattleField 2

It was really good for ps2, but it was absoultely piss poor for 360. I hate how it feels like skating on ice in the middle of the desert.

God, I can't believe all the hate Dead Rising and Lost Planet are getting in here. Oh well, I agree the save system sucks in Dead Rising and the constant "Stun Attacks" in Lost Planet are cheap but overall both games are fantastic needing overhauls of only a few things.

But on to topic, I would resoundingly say Perfect Dark Zero. I finished it and played a bit of MP and haven't touched it since. Poor game IMO.

Hitman Blood Money...played for 2 hours day one and then never again. I liked the original but never got into this one.

i was super pumped for this game and when i played the game it was just...meh.i traded it in after 2 weeks

-dumb running system

-dialogue scenes get boring

-doing dumb tasks like going across this dull town just to kill one guy who is super secretly hidden

-some of the weapons are completely useless

-and the slapped on lagtasticmultiplayer

and personally i think saints row was better than GTA in every way except map size and mission numbers.and since the next one looks like a step backwards,saints row will own it again and saints row 2 will demolish it.

-better graphics

-multiplayer

-better customization

-more andbetter activities

-better garage system

-save whenever you want

-custom soundtrack

-better car customization

-and features GTA should've had

because i state why its not a horrible game, lol. People who dont like dead rising most likely dont have an hdtv, and also sucked at the game.

Hmm well I have a HDTV and I'm playing Dead Rising at 720p (I think it's a good quality -.-) and I also dislike Dead Rising, mainly because two things: the save system and the targeting system. Both are awful and unconfortable and when you are in some parts of the game (like fighting against Carlito, I think it's a bit odd that he in a moment can target you and you need at least 1-2 seconds to target him).

I like surviving in a commercial where I have to drink Orange juice to regenerate my life, or that I need to get an electric guitar to fight against zombies, but those two things that I said above made me turn off it.

Biggest offenders are Saint's Row and Perfect Dark Zero. Both were just awful IMO, but I only paid $20 for PDZ so I can't get that bummed about it. I didn't like Crackdown either, but my main gripe with that game is that, assuming that they could have released it AFTER finishing it (which they did not), that it SHOULD have been a budget title. There is NOT $60 worth of game in that package.

I have a few other games which one may argue are bad or ripoffs, but I paid next to nothing for a great many of them. DOA Xtreme 2? Paid $20, and it's not a great game but there's something oddly compelling about it -- maybe it's the sociologist in me, or perhaps it's that same part of me that likes B-movies and William Shatner's music career, but I think I've gotten $20 out of it. I got the Tetris game as well and paid less than $10 for it, which is about right for what you get.

I regret buying Dead Rising.

How is the save system bad, you just go into a washroom anytime you want to save it's not hard at all

It's a Zombie game...what more of a storyline do you want from something Zombie related?

It wouldn't be half as fun and have 'survival' type feeling game play if your weapons didn't break fast

I regret buying Kameo. I quickly took it back. Only games I own now are Gears, Oblivion, GH2, DDR:U, and FNR3. Oblivion was great aside from some glitches and load times. DDR is fun, but for some reason load times can be stupid and border-line freeze my 360. GH2 is also a lot of fun, but stings my eyes after about an hour. FNR3 is great fun, though repetitive... and Gears I simply can't stand anymore. I'm glad the 360 wrecked my disc and I'm debating whether or not to bother sending away for a replacement copy.

As far as arcade games, the only one I regret is Alien Hominid. I truly hate that game. (Arcade games I don't regret are Uno, Castlevania: SOTN, Heavy Weapon, Assault Heroes, Sonic, Aegis Wing *fun and free*, Worms, and some others. Though if I had to actually pay for Hexic, it would be a regret also).
