Oblivion sold me on getting the 360 I was hooked on Morrowind and at the time, it wasn't announced that Oblivion was going to the ps3. I also didn't have a top of the line video card for it to run on my PC. And I really wanted Oblivion. So I had to get the Xbox 360 for it.gr8scott

same here, except about the PC thing never thought about PC gaming

I bought it in anticipation of Gears of War. Oh yea, also for Oblivion which totally let me down. The combat was horrible and boring, and I felt overwhelmed with too much to do. That type of game just isn't for me anymore. I don't like 100 + hour games, I'm cool with anywhere from 10-20 hours. The only exception I make is for The Legend of Zelda games....I played Twlight Princess for a few months and for about 70+ hours.

I bought it because I had an original xbox and loved it, so I bought the Xbox 360 on launch day.grunt1096

Madden 08. I bought it for my PS3, but the 360 version was way better. So I swapped the PS3 version for the 360 version (Gamestop actually let me swap an open game) and bought another 360, my 1st 360 RROD. By the way, my 2nd 360 died (RROD) also, but Microsoft has replaced it.
