For me, even though i dont have an HDTV (im getting an HD moniter soon though), i would get an HD-DVD drive when Transformers comes out (if i havent already gotten it on regular DVD yet and have an HDTV). That movie was awesome.
Im guessing Planet Earth is pretty amazing...I already bought the player but just not the disc set. I will definately buy all the Star Wars movies, granted that they come out on HDDVD.
